Thanks very much for the tips Rodger. If on dismantling them it transpires
that the corrosion is too bad then I'll possibly get hold of some
replacements anyway - while they're not essential for gameplay (easy enough
to put the game on freeplay!) it would be nice to have them working for the
sake of completeness. :)

In case anyone is interested, I'm still waiting for a reply on whether I can
make the S10 technical manual available for download.
