Hopefully, Scott won't be mad at me for this, but I originally submitted the story a few hours before it was posted, and it was rejected. They obviously decided to credit one of their buddies with the story and post it. I highly doubt they'd have even known about it so quickly if it wasn't for me.
Not that I care much for credit in situations like this, but that's just shoddy and irresponsible, not to mention underhanded. They've lost a reader as a result.
