So everyone's final solution is to give up and replace the LV circuit with
an LV-2000? I'd like to hear what the others have to say about this. I
would like to keep my monitor original. The 6100 in my Space Duel has been
very reliable. That monitor is all original.. in fact, it still has the
matching Atari S/N sticker on it for the game. That machine has been to a
couple of conventions (running all day for the weekend).
I'd like to bring my Tempest monitor to that level. I feel I am close,
having rebuilt the HV and Deflection boards.. When it works, it looks
great. Solid, sharp, no wiggles.
Again, I'm interested to see what everyone has to say about the recurring
Q100/101 faulure in a 6100.
Thanks
-Brian
