They also have 4066 or 4016 (interchangeable).
I believe Radio shack has LM324s on the rack.
You should remove the 4066 from the circuit to prevent it from injecting
noise. I don't recall seeing a case of a 4066 making noise as you
describe.
I'm not familiar with BZ enough to know the sound circuit off the top of
my head. Pokey, Engine rumble (noisy pot?).
Is it all sounds or just a given sound?
Ah reread your original post.
Given that you've lost all sounds it must be in the mixing/amp stages
unless there is some sortta sound enable. Do all the sounds go thru the
4066?
Kev
I don't have an oscilloscope. I think I'm gonna just close the
switch manually by crossing the input/output pins. If that produces
sound, I'll
know that the 4066 is bad.
I have the following parts to trade:
AMD 2091 bit-slice processors, up to four in quantity
2114 RAM, up to 13 in quantity
4116 RAM, up to 24 in quantity
Williams "Special Chips", up to two in quantity
I also need 4 or more LM324s.
