Amplifone - Shrinking vectors.

What causes a "shrinking screen" on amplifones?

The effect isn't great, but noticable. I have seen some deflection boards
shrink between 1/2" and 1/16". Either way, this is too much. I know this is
caused by the deflection board.

My guess is that my spot killer is coming on momementarily.

I have touched up solder joints.

Any other ideas?
