I get this spinback effect on any game which uses a spinner (I'm using a
Tempest spinner btw), and some trackball games. A couple of games like
Centipede and Millipede appear to have a maximum speed regardless of the
spin speed and these behave okay in MAME, but others such as Missile
Command, Reactor and Quantum get spinback problems with amouse or
trackball via opti-pac.

No. Tempest in particular is causing me problems. I just can't play it
with the precision I am used to under emulation. Tac/Scan also feels a
bit vague and sluggish.

Yes, definitely. As so many vector games use spinners, I would really
like to use one along with a ZVG in my Gravitar cab. ;)
