Bipolar PROMS usually requires a more sophisticated programmer. I use an
old JDR MOD EMUP running on a 386 that will do the Bipolars as well as GALs
PALs & microcontrollers.
You should be able to find a cheap ISA slot device second hand. The MOD
EMUP is a ISA slot device.
I recommend you stay away from Xeltek but I think John Robertson uses a
Xeltek.
