Did you replace the original +5VDC power supply and upgrade the ground
connections within the game? This will tend to reduce if not eliminate the
fire threat...
I haven't had a SEGA game in here for years, so I have no pictures of the
upgrade, but essentially you want to really make sure the common/ground
connections within the game are very solid!
