Tom: The resistor changes are in the 19V2000? I didn't realize that... I
stand corrected.

Martin: It is VERY IMPORTANT to remember that if you discharge the picture
tube BE SURE to use a high voltage probe or resistors in a series! If you
short it directly to ground you will blow the HV diode. You can find the
details in the B&W vector monitor FAQ. Here's the link:

At first I added the resistors in a series to a screwdriver and it worked
fine for discharging, but as time went by I needed to measure HV on various
monitors and bought a HV probe off of Ebay. I consider it one of the best
purchases I have made... I would like to recommend you go that route.

BTW, does anyone need a very cheap "resistors in a series screwdriver"
discharging tool cheap? Pic's on request! <grin>
