I don't think bad waveforms will blow a Wintron, especially without a BU406D
in. In fact, I would go so far as to say it definately can't. There are
correct waveform examples now in the latest FAQ.
If you mised the whole discussion last week -- check C8 .033uf 600V (at
least) polypropylene cap
