We always assumed them to be drop ins, using the same yoke, hardware,
centering/purity rings/magnets/yokes/whatever. Also, the focus voltages were
assumed to be the same, and 99.99% of the time were actually so. Every once
in a while we would find one where the curvature of the front glass of the
tube didnt quite match and it would leave a gap or a bulge in the front of
the tv eustecheon (sp) or plastic decorative front.
Given the relatively enormous clearance between the outer edge of the CRT
glass and the monitor bezel in a game, this should be a non issue.
