Your nice mostly metal conversion van makes a great magnetic shield.

Had a nearby lightening hit make a dozen games into techicolor
nightmares, but in the middle of it all was a Satan's Hollow that was
unaffected. Seems to me Electrohome used to use tubes in some of their
monitors that had internal magnetic shielding. Don't remember the tube
number, but would bet that game had one of those tubes.

Guess the only thing to do now is put a game into your conversion van,
degauss it, then try turning it and see is my "van make good shielding"
theory holds any water.
