WG6100 (Tempest) D800 on occasionally

Hello all,

I have had a Tempest for about a year (serial#00097 brag) that had a dead
WG6100 when I bought it. I rebuilt it with a LV2000 and Bob Roberts cap kit
as well as a power supply kit. It's worked great until a couple months ago
when I noticed midway through a game it would reset. I guessed it was the
game PCB and just bought a new one on eBay and went in to look at the game
tonight. Before it was resetting once every 4 or 5 minutes. Today I see it
resetting every 4 or 5 seconds. Now I see that D800 on the WG6100 deflection
board is coming on when this happens. I guess that is the spot killer.

Can I assume the most likely canidate is a chassis mounted transistor,
insulator, or socket?

Thanks for any suggestions,

Greg
