i'v used the older version, it's a nice bit of kit.
it's main strength is that it can do most flash chips,
the only 3 problems with it are:
1 - it needs a case, not a problem but a shame willem didnt supply one.
2 - it's slow, it uses shift-registers to send the data bit-by-bit.
3 - it uses a slightly unusual psu voltage, but not a problem for most of us here.

that said, for the price it's a great deal and you can customise it all you want due to the schematics being public and a Linux open-source version of the software being developed.

i say go for it.
