Tempest test switch?

Please someone tell me I'm not crazy. The test switch on my Tempest that
I've owned for years is missing. I see two wires going there, but they're
hanging empty. No big deal, I just figured someone lifted it. But now I've
had 2 more Tempest's in the past month and neither of them have test
switches either. Same thing, 2 wires hanging empty.

Does anyone have a Tempest with a test switch present?
