Yes but don't forget you have -38v that you can connect to the HV PCB, with
a few other chops and changes it could be done. Wouldn't be pretty but it
would work, I think the original output 29kv then a diode chops it to 14.5kv
dc. If you use a split diode lopt you only need it to reach 14.5kv at the
anode.
