There used to be a database, at least for vectors, available from maybe VAPS or GameArchive.. don't remember. I know I submitted to it and it had quite alot submissions already back in 1997/98 or so. But can't seem to find it anymore. Too bad if all those entries are gone...

I have something set up on ggdb.com. It's one of the options that collectors can enter when they enter their collection. If you're interested, we could share data via web services. It's also C#/ASP.NET 2.0 based. LMK.
(See http://ggdb.com/Collectors/SerialNumbers.aspx?vid=503 for an example of a summary of a game.)

Subject: VECTOR: OT: Serial Number Registry...
I recently made a Pinball Serial Number database (http://www.ipsnd.net)
and sort of always wanted to do one for vids too but the list seems
overwhelming... maybe if I just stuck to vector games, that would be a
fair start tho.
Any interest? Anyone want to make a logo? Domain Suggestions?
I can use the same engine that I have now which is...
Microsoft IIS
.NET 2.0 C#
Telerik Wigits
LLBLGen Data Abstraction Layer Generator
Microsoft SQL Server
Fairly easy to tweak..
