Better yet, use two part conductive epoxy. It works well. It
doesn't conduct when wet, but after curing for several hours, it is
superhard, conducts well, and sticks great.

I would also consider modifying the socket by cutting out the connector
for that pin. That way, you could insert the tube in the socket without
stressing the broken pin, and then push the focus connection on seperately
and gingerly.

How'd you manage to break it in the first place?
