you always start by pulling and comparing the roms to the sets in mame,
that goes for any gameboard.
the official data-retention period for an eprom is between 10 and 20 years depending on chip and manufacturer,
we are well past that now!
i know some collectors who just erase and reprogram all the chips without checking them just to be damned sure they wont go later.
