Amplifone rebuild kit

Thanks for all the suggestions for my Star Wars/Amplifone !!!

I will be working on it tomorrow and take allong all the tips !

I saw that the Amplifone FAQ suggests to replace the deflection
transistors. Is there a special reason for this ? I understand that
electroyltic caps "wear out" but I didn't think transistors have the
same problem ?
