There is no single part of the circuitry that draws the text. The text is
treated like any other vectors, except that the instruction set for each
character is contained in vector ROM rather than being assembled on-the-fly
and put in the vector RAM pages. A prerequisite to successfully accessing
the vector ROM instructions after DMAGO (might be called VGGO in Ast. Dlx)
is a properly working stack and program counter, so those might be something
to suspect. Good luck...
