Re: Amplifone cap question

It *USUALLY* does not matter if you go with higher values on voltage
and capacitance (farad). However, never go lower than required on either.

My guess is that the 470uf x 50v were either more expensive or
difficult to obtain so Bob just subbed 1000uf.
