FWIW, I've been using the Caddock TO-220 packaged resistors for several
years now with no ill effects. They're non-inductive and also mount nicely
on standard heatsinks like the amplifone one (although I used a separate
heatsink instead). They're reasonably priced-- and they're from home town!
;-) (Which is really, really odd since there is *no* high tech there and
as if Roseburg isn't remote enough, they're even farther out of the way...
