When the big transformer block died on my Pole Position, I replaced the
whole thing with a PC switcher, and one of these amps:
And the only reason I needed this one is the dual ARII setup in PP. For most
games you could use a switcher and the $9 mono version of this amp.
I should add that whatever went wrong in my transformer block, the isolation
transformer for the monitor still worked and I'm using. I bought a stand
alone isolation transformer to be able to pull it out completely, but never
installed it.
