Asteroids mystery mod

Hi all,

Just got this rev 2 Asteroids board and am trying to ID the board
installed in C5:

U1 is an LS161
U2 is an LS00
U3 is an LS00
U4 - U6 are LS393N

pin 9 of U3 can be jumpered to "4", "5", or "6" which go to pins 1,2
and 10 of U3 and 9 of U4, pin 11 of U4, or pin 10 of U4

pin 13 of U6 can be jumpered to "1.5", "3.0", "22" or "44" which go to
pin 5, pin 6, pin 3 or pin 4 or U6

Board is currently not working (no picture, Start 1 and 2 flashing,
never-ending high beeps in self test); while waiting for RAM I thought
I'd ask if anyone has seen this and knows what it might do.
