Well orignally, it had a blown flyback, and most of the caps were shot. Replaced the flyback, caps, put a zanen kit in basically. It came right up after all that. Ran for about 48 hours, then blew c902, and took out r901. Replaced the cap, and resistor, now it eats r901 in 10-15 mins. Looks like the new flyback I installed might have gone bad.

Is it / was it producing any high voltage?
What was the original symptom when you started?
What has been done, other than replacing R901, R907, Q900 & Q906?
Did you install or recently install a cap kit?
What are the voltages from each pin of Q900 to ground?
Thanks,

Hello all,
Trying to figure out a problem with a HV board. I'm pulling about 16v across R901. R901, and R907 have been replaced with 3.9ohm 5watts. But for the life of me I haven't been able to figure out why it's pulling that much voltage. My others are only pulling about 2-3v. Naturally it burns up the resistor in short order.
q900, and 906 don't appear to be shorted, and I have swapped them for good measure. I've been taking measurements, and checking everything, and all seems good. I've been staring at these schematics now for hours trying to figure out where the problem might be, and I'm at a loss right now. Brain has officially locked up for the evening.
Hoping one of you guys can point me in the right direction.
Thanks,
Kevin
