I wish I could remember on the transformer. I sold my ZVG a couple years back and have regretted it tremendously since.
Speaking of which, if anyone on here would like to sell their ZVG, I'd like to buy.

Subject: VECTOR: ZVG questions
Hi all,
I'm trying to get my ZVG running after several years. A couple of dumb questions:
1. Does it use a 18 VAC 500 mA wall transformer for power? I neglected to put the transformer and monitor cable with the circuit board when packing up years ago.
2. I'm running the Vector MAME stuff in DOS with a PCI SB64 sound card (Ensoniq 1370 chip) with no ZVG hooked up yet. I'm picking the "Ensoniq Soundscape" option for DVMame and the sounds in Tempest sound very saturated/staticy to my untrained ear. Does anyone else notice this? I tried a set of headphones and a set of computer speakers and both sounded noisy. Some other games like Zektor or 2 player Eliminator don't produce sounds at all. Maybe I don't have complete ROM data for some games?
3. If anyone has a Space Duel, Gravitar, Black Widow, etc. cab within 100 miles of zip 18104 and wants to get rid of it, let me know. I would like something to build a vector ZVG multigame in.
Thanks
