Re: Anyone have a neckboard or a connector for a 19VLUP22?

18.4 kV on startup. 18.6 after 10 minutes or so.

I haven't tried to tweak it up to 19.5 kV yet.

What does the HV do over the same period of time?

Sent from my iPhone so delivery may be delayed due to AT&T network congestion.

  Now back to monitor troubleshooting....

My one 6100 I just started using takes a long while to brighten up. If I first turn it on, the vectors are practically invisible (ZVG menu software) but if I turn the brightness all the way up it looks fine. But as it is on longer, the vectors brighten and I get a red dot in the center. After 15 minutes, I've dialed back the brightness knob several times to remove the red dot and have it look okay.

Is this a weak tube or some other problem?

  Thanks.

  Andrew,

No problem. Thanks for the clarification.

I have no problem with someone having an opinion different than mine, but as you picked up, you can be diplomatic without having to be PC; just "wrong" is as good as "completely wrong", or even "here's a different view/idea/interpretation/perspective/whatever".

  Back to the fuzzy games...

  Thanks,

Mark.. a thousand apologies upon you..

I was referencing the second poster 'matt' who said that its supposed to defocus by design...

Inadvertantly i said 'mark' when i should have said 'matt' (his last name is not given..) if i had meant you, i would have said your full name. I was 'adding to the vibe' - meaning that i was adding to your correct assertion that it should only occur during the death star explosion but further qualifying it by adding it was only a design 'feature' of Amplifone monitors, the OP has a WG 6100... I was backing you up, but also pointing out that 6100's don't defocus on the death star explosion so 'matt' was completely wrong...

My early sunday-morning haze is to blame for saying 'mark' instead of 'matt', and yes, even so, i didn't put it very diplomatically anyway...

Andrew, would you care to clarify your statement?

I have to disagree on that one.
The de-focusing effect is only supposed to occur _during the death star > explosion_.
In normal operation, both bright and dim vectors should be in focus.

You made the assertion that I was "completely wrong", which, even if it were true, is a pretty inflammatory way to point it out.

Then, you proceed to replicate my exact statement. That would make _you_, as "completely wrong", as I.

      Nice; I appreciate it.
