Andy, (Guys for Info)
Try this stuff.... from Rapid , Data sheet confirms good for CRT''s and its
cheap enough !! - UK supplier
http://www.rapidonline.com/Tools-Fasteners-Production-Equipment/Service-Aids/PCB-Accessories/Graphite-33-Spray/30090/kw/graphite+spray
I need to replace springs on some tubes too and re do dag (B+W ones) ...
I thought about just getting some Braid and a good spring about 2" long and
solder the braid through the loop on the spring back on itself - U shape. -
There is nothing special really, the flat braid will conduct to the dag nicely
from the chassis and ground wire.
If you really want to do the braid on the cheap, find some muticore cable, strip
the insuation off and then slide the braid off the cable. This is perfectly
acceptable. I've not used on tubes, but I've used to make various eathing
straps and things in the past.
Please report back how you get on.
Cheers, Colin

I haven't used it, but I looked into the dag material once.
"Aquadag" & "Electrodag" are trademarks of Acheson Industries, which has been
bought by Henkel:
http://www.henkel.com/cps/rde/xchg/henkel_com/hs.xsl/brands-5497.htm?iname=Acheson&countryCode=com&BU=industrial&parentredDotUID=8000000380&redDotUID=8000000380&brand=000000QVER
Need to deteremine which of the dozens of varieties is correct (or at least
acceptable)
With a little googling, you should be able to find people selling small
containers of it.
I've also seen home-brew recipies for dag paint, but I can't find the URL right
now...
