Well I solved the problem on mine anyway, The battery was good......at the battery but it wasn't getting to the 5101. I found a broken trace between the battery + terminal and R142. All good now :)

Darn.. was hoping you had solved it. I have never had high score saved on any OR boards I have had (around 4 or 5)

Actually forget that :( it was just showing test credits.Has anyone else figured out the high score save problem....It has a good battery, good 5101. I've checked PN2, P4, S6, PR1. For some reason pin 19 on the 5101 ( Batram ) is high. --- On Thu, 16/6/11, SIMON HANLON <simonjhanlon@btopenworld.com> wrote:

After spending hours trying to figure out why my
Omega race won't save high scores and credits I finally found out why. DIP switch 4C on the Audio board SW#7 disables high score save and credit totals. It's not listed on the DIP switch settings card. May save someone some time in future.
