akswanson is a genius. :-)
I checked, and there was a bad socket for Q102, one of the pins was
not making contact with the socket. I pushed the pin over so it stayed
in contact with the socket, retested, and the spot killer LED came on.
I bought a bunch of new sockets yesterday, and my friend and I will replace
that one and test all the other TO-3 sockets on the two monitors we just
rebuilt.
I also borrowed an Wico Corp. X-Y Pattern Generator from my friend Al,
so we'll try to get some patterns up on the monitors this afternoon.
Thanks for the help guys!
