Oh crap, one more time with feeling:
Write 00 to 1740 for bottom half of Rom at 1Q.
Write 01 to 1740 for top half of Rom at 1Q.
Write 02 to 1740 for bottom half of Rom at 1N/P.
Write 03 to 1740 for top half of Rom at 1N/P.
If at any time a reset occurs (watchdog?) it will write 00 to 1740.
