The main issue is the inertia of the mirrors because of the refresh rate of the vectors and the method of deflection -usually galvanometers. I've never seen nice square vectors like a crt. Maybe a crt projector using XY deflection?

I am working on a game room project which would give me a large expanse of dimly lit wall and a nice clear view of it from across the room. Any ideas? I seem to remember talk around these lines in the past but can’t find anything right now.
