An update on my S&S board repair.
Have replaced U21 (the op amp just after the dac), Q1, Q2 in the speech
section. Speech is still VERY slow to the point its nothing more than
clicks / pops. But faster than what it was.
Output of U21 is based around 1.53vdc where on a good board should be around
9vdc.
Looking at the DAC's now. Anyone have a source for the 1408A dacs? Or has
anyone done a hack to implant more modern dacs?
