The transistor is a motorola part with the number 626 on it. If I go to
mouser.com it comes up with one part number under transistors -> TIP29C.
It's an NPN transistor. Does anyone happen to know if this sounds correct?
It probably wouldn't hurt to change the 6.8uf tantalum capacitors either.
