You must do. It's the same place you will have got the FIDE software from
if you got it from the place you were meant to have done :)
I sent James over a DVD full of roms (naughty me!!) last year i think so
he could calcuate all the rom checksums and stuff (apologies if that's not
your correct name BTW).
Go into the mame virtual machine section and once you've picked the one
your after there's a link to click on that will create a 9010 script for
you that you can cut and paste into fide.
It's not always 100% accurate since it's based on mame vm's and so can
include memory regions that are not directly accesible by the cpu but it's
a damn good starter for the 10.
While i normally use that site for the mame vm info (quicker and easier
than bringing up the source each time), i have to confess to normally just
tapping the tests into the 9010 by hand though since i find it quicker, so
no idea if the scripts really work with fide or not. I presume they do
just fine.
