They have 100-TQFP sockets, actually....
They're kind of crappy, but for a digital circuit, it really
doesn't matter. The socket kind of comes in two parts, and you screw
the top one to the bottom, with the chip in the middle.
(The last chip I worked on was in a 100-TQFP. It had 100 dB DACs
in it, and it really complicated the process of characterizing the analog
performance in-house.)
