I wanted to try it out on some Z80 code but that's not an option. It looks
like the freeware vesion ONLY does 80x86 disassembling. Or am I missing
something?

Take a look at the IDA disassembler v3.7. It's freeware and
available at:
http://www.ccso.com/update/ida37fw.zip
It has support for a number of different processors including the 68k,
65xx, 68xx, and Z80. I've used it before for 80x86 stuff and it's
pretty impressive.
