G'day Kurt and folks,

I recently put a midi trackball (for a Quantum conversion) in my Space Duel
cabinet using a spare trashed control panel. I positioned the trackball so
that I had the maximum room for spinning without hitting my fingers.
However, it was not enough.

I ended up having to cut out the back of the control panel to make extra
space for my fingers. So I'll say that it looks like the only solution is
to bend a new Quantum style control panel that goes back into the cabinet to
give your fingers room.

ps - Rick Schieve used a mini trackball to play Quantum in a Black Widow
cabinet (again using a spare trashed control panel), but I never liked the
feel of it.

Actually, I have. I've got an extra SD cabinet (not in great shape)..
But in looking at it I'm not sure I could squeeze a trackbackk into it --
also, isn't the control panel a little deeper to give room for moving
the trackball?
