RE: Red Baron AVG ROM question

Chris,

Yes, I am using a Red Baron AUX. The self-test isn't completely legible,
I'm displaying it on by scope until replacement deflection transistors arrive.

It looks like there may be an error code. I just fired it up this morning
and adjusted the display to fit everything on the screen in test mode and
saw what appears to be a "4RR". This doesn't jive with the error code
descriptions on the backsheet, so I need to get the monitor happy so I can
see the message correctly (my scope doesn't handle the "Z" input very
well....).

Thanks for verifying the modification. The game is resetting the NOVRAM and
decoding the joystick inputs, so at least it is communicating in some form
with the AUX. There appears to be no mathbox errors displayed, but the
sound is kaput as well.

Oh well.... this one goes into my collection kicking and screaming. Some
go peacefully, some resist.
