I use a solution of warm DI or distilled water & baking soda first. This
seems to neutralize the green/blue crystals or acid residue on the PCB's
metal components or traces and thus prevents any further corrosion. Then
just rinse with your usual/favorite cleaner.
This also works great on car batt terminals, if you have the need.
