Hi MK,
I've got a VHS tape for Gravitar and I think I have Space Duel too. They
are mostly screens shots of the game while it's being played with a
voice-over explaining game play and strategies. I think they were 10-15
minutes a piece. Pretty boring for the most part but it is kinda cool to
see the game being played and hear what Atari's sales angles were. These
were produced as sales aids only and were for the Arcade owner (not the
public).
I could dub what I have and send it to you for $5.00 (Priority Shipping &
Video Tape) if you'd like to see what they were like before you spend the
$100. I would think paying for the transfer from BETA to VHS would
probably cost a bit too. Unless you actually have a working BETA deck ;-)
!!? I'd be interested in going in on it with you too - if his tapes cover
some other game titles.
