Rip Off question

Gang,

Killing a couple of minutes the other night I had a quick game of Rip Off on
MacMame. As I was drooling over the cabinet picture, wishing there was even
a single Cinematronics vector game known to exist in Australia, I realised
something about the control panel.

It was all buttons!

The game I played in George Street Sydney, and the only one I ever saw
(although Armour Attack was popular in Australia and I saw several of them)
had two joysticks like the StarHawk Joysticks.

The joysticks controlled the direction (turn left, turn right) and there
were fire and thrust buttons.

Apart from that - the cabinet was identical.

Conversion???

And aren't those little joysticks analogue????

Any thoughts????

Finally - it also occurred to me that to get a Cinematronics monitor I only
need the chassis not the tube, as I have Electrohomes spare and I am
assuming there was nothing special about the yoke. Please confirm this.

Cheers
Paul
