I believe one of the raster repair manuals for the WG4600/4900 or G07
discusses this procedure. It should be the same for vector monitors. I
believe you use the white crosshatch pattern (all colors) and allign the
lines in each corner of the screen by installing/adjusting the shunts.
I talked to a TV repair man and he suggested using little button magnets
available from radio shack as they provide a more powerful magnet and
can be stacked in multiples for greater effect. Silicon sealer and tape
should hold them in place.
