Battlezone Mathbox Errors

I've got a cabaret Battlezone that just started giving me a "L" (low byte)
error in self test mode. In game mode there is no display on the screen (spot
killer on). The manual says to see one of the schematic sheets for further
info on this error. I don't have the schematics (only the manual).

I did resolder all the interboard connector points, and reseated all the
socketed chips. It's definantly on the mathbox because I swaped in another
mathbox board and it works fine. Any hints on where else to look?
