The most easy thing to check is the AD convertor, since this one is socketed.
Look for a bigger chip on the CPU board, with 'ADC0809' printed on it. Maybe
reseating it will fix the problem, if not, try another one since they are cheap.
If this does not solve the problem, check if the chip select input of the
ACD0809 is changing states regularly (in the yoke test mode) to test the address
decoder for it. If this line is stuck, the chip is never 'looked at' by the
processor. At last, check if the X and Y voltages from the flight yoke are
present at the right inputs of the ADC0809.
