This is correct. The 20khz square wave is shown at both the base of the
BU406D on the Amplifone, and on the (I can't remember the original off the
top of my head, but I use an SK3199) WG.

Trouble is, you'd have to get a new "red mystery can" (MCI) that would
resonate to account for the 15khz instead of 20khz...This might present a
serious problem.
