Did I just do something bad ?

I got this great local deal on a Star Wars that had ben damaged in shipping
broken wood inside the marque area, needs some carpentry), and was missing
an A/R II.

I pulled the A/R from my Major Havoc, put it in, turned it on - - -

R29 on the AR IIglows like a light bulb, and all four big caps have red
ooozing stuff under them.

Damn. Pull the board.

Doing what I should have done FIRST -- half the four amp fuses are really 20
amp. Crap. Now looking at the plugs, J6 (10.3 VDC UNREG) and J9 (36
VAC) are the same plug. Oh damn, which way did I plug those in ?

I'm sure I wouldn't be the first person to swap those two plugs. If that's
what I did, how much more damage should I be looking for, ?

Oh looking at the A/R II schematic, this does not look good.
