Yes. I believe the Electrohome ones he describes will work with Amplifone boards (the trick is getting the end cap (aka nipple) to fit). The problem is that those tubes mentioned are standard res tubes. If you are going to pay that much for a new tube, you may as well spend the extra bucks to get a medium res tube. Your eyes will thank you for it.

Well, you have to use the Amplifone HV/deflection board/yoke combination for Amplifone monitors, WG6100 HV/deflection board/yoke combination for WG6100 monitors, etc.. The tubes can be swapped, but you may need to change out the end cap on the tube or change the neck socket (on WG6100 this is on the neck board, Amplifone monitors have it wired by itself). There is a small chance that a new tube will not be pin compatible, but I have not heard of any documented arcade monitors with different pinouts (maybe someone can correct me on this).
With that said, there is also a rumor that a WG6100 yoke can be used with Amplifone boards and visa-versa. I have never tried this, although I am going to soon. I am going to put an Amplifone tube in a WG6100 chassis using an Amplifone yoke. I am very confident that this will work, although I'm not sure if there will be much bowing.
