this is the bootleg asteroids game called 'Planet' made by 'Alca' a
succesful machine bootlegger here in the uk, they bootlegged loads of games,
but unlike boards, they made full cabinets with their own artowrk and
everything..
there's quite a few 'Planet' cabs about, a friend up the road from me has
one, which iwill be going to take a look at soon, as i am intrigued myself.
and yes, it is supposedly a Hantarex :)
when we spoke to the guys at the Hantarex stand at the last eeuropean ATEI
show, one old bloke remembered someething about vector monitors back in the
early eighties (we approached them in a feasabilty study into reproducing
new yokes)..
as and when i get to my mates house, i will take a load of pics on my
digicam and post them for everyone to see.. definately a weirdo monitor that
very few peopl have heard/seen of..
